Travel is my favorite perk

Today I feel blessed.

The Hill team loves to travel. Sometimes it does not matter where we go. We always seem to find that little, hidden spot around the corner, a great new wine or that delicious blueberry scone in a rural place such as Grants Pass, Oregon. (see Maralyn's What and Where in the World blog on November 1, for the recipe and story from the River Rock Gift Store and Cafe.

We were lucky to find sunny blue sky's and sweater weather temperatures in October along the Oregon coast and wine trail. Our favorite days were picnics in the grass, with the fall colors of crimson and gold reflected along the running rivers and crystal clear lakes.

Yet, Oregon is a place for all seasons. I wish I could return to a wonderful town and a top notch resort called The Running Y, in Klamath Falls, for the annual Snowflake Parade on November 7. Call 541-883-5351 for details.

January begins in Mexico and ends in France. You will read all of the delicious and surprising details on our blogs.
