Prospective Associate Member of IFWTWA:
Thank you for your interest in membership
in the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association.
I'm sending you information about our association of writers, broadcasters,
authors and associate members from the food, wine and travel industries.
The International Food, Wine, & Travel
Writer's Association has hundreds of media and industry professionals
in countries throughout the world. IFWTWA membership's includes writers
from the top food, wine, travel, and hospitality publications in the world
with a combined global readership of many millions as well as industry
professionals.
Associate Members may
contact media professional members through our database referral program
or through listings in the IFWTWA Membership Directory
or through "story opportunities" announcements in Press
Pass, our monthly newsletter.
Associate Members are
encouraged to participate in organizing Regional Meetings with local members
to foster networking between associate and media professional members.
Associate Members receive
a copy of, and a descriptive listing in, the IFWTWA
Membership Directory, a comprehensive resource, with
new members and address changes updated in each monthly issue of
Press Pass. Mailing labels can be provided to Associate Members
for a nominal additional fee.
Associate Members may
also have a listing of their website and link on the IFWTWA.ORG website.
The IFWTWA office
will assist Associate Members who would like to host
a group of media professionals at the Associate Member's property and
will work with local CVB or tourism groups to organize a press trip by
a limited number of media professionals.
During the last few years IFWTWA
conferences were held at the following exciting venues: Malaysia, Jamaica,
Nova Scotia, Santa Fe, Rio de Janeiro, Boca Raton, Hawaii, Sydney, Australia
the Cote d'Azur, France, Turkey and Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Associate
Members are invited to attend conferences and regional meetings to meet
our media professional members and make a presentation about their clients
or services.
