IFWTWA Celebrates Our 2nd Conference at Sea
January 9 -16, 2010
Members are invited to join the festivities as we sail the Eastern Caribbean on Holland America Line's ms Eurodam. We depart Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 5:00 PM (all aboard 3:30 PM) and stop at Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos; San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.; and Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. We will arrange exciting excursions where possible.
Members and their guests are welcome to take part in several Professional Development Seminars during our 2 ½ days at sea. We are working on details.
Open to all media and hospitality professionals, including writers, photographers, public relations, publicists, and marketing personnel.
New Member Applicants who sign up and pay for this conference by September 20, 2009 may choose to include a full one-year Membership for 2010. Any accredited hospitality professional may come as a New Associate Member (see registration form). Members of SATW, ASJA, SJA, NY, Midwest, IACP, NATJA or other established writer's organizations automatically for New Regular Membership (see registration form).
Our conference at sea is a perfect time to mix and mingle with fabulous writers, photographers, and other professionals who will be attending.
We will have a welcome and farewell cocktail party along with other exciting activities.
All attendees are responsible for transportation to the Port of FT. Lauderdale. Holland America does not believe its contracted air price is better than thecompetitive prices found on the internet. Therefore, it is up to you to secure your own air.
We will advise a hotel close to port for early arrivals as soon as we secure it. We encourage you to sign up early. Holland America ships are sailing quite full.
