Your travel should begin November 4th from your base to gateway cities in USA to Aero Mexico gateway cities to Mexico so we can all join up at Los Mochis and begin the tour as specified on November 5th.Flights will be arranged with Aero Mexico through Mr. Rodriguez.
Routes will be the most direct possible for you per Aero Mexico to Mexico City or Hermosillo for customs then a flight to Los Mochis. We have a special negotiated roundtrip fare from Aero Mexico through Juan to a US. gateway city to Mexico from $200-$300 dollars US. You are responsible for travel to the gateway city and your overnight accommodation in US. if applicable. A special office at Aero Mexico will handle the special booking. Please sign up ASAP.

Day 1 Los Mochis – El Fuertes -November 5
Arrival Los Mochis airport where your Tour Director will meet you! Transfer to Topolobampo bay for bird & dolphin tour followed by a gastronomic seafood nosh. Continue by private transportation to colonial town of El Fuerte where we will visit the Mayo Indian in Capomos. This afternoon we will enjoy a happy hour at the hotel where El Zorro will join us (show performance) and we will be delighted with a folkloric dance.

Day 2 El Fuerte
This morning we will enjoy river raft tour along the El Fuerte river where we will have the opportunity to watch different kinds of birds. After our Mexican buffet lunch, join your Tour Director for a walk around the town, visiting the main plaza, the local church, the Municipal Palace and local market.

Day 3 El Fuerte – Cerocahui
Early this morning after breakfast we will board the Ferromex first class coach “Chepe” for our rail trip through the rugged terrain across Mexicós Sierra Madre Mountains to the charming town of Cerocahui.
Afternoon: we will visit the hotel vineyard and enjoy a special exhibition. Rest of the day at leisure!

Day 4 Cerocahui – Posada Barrancas
This morning we will ride to Gallegos Urique Lookout for a sweeping view of the Copper Canyon system. Start at the 7500ft. elevation overlook of the deepest canyon, Urique Canyon, and of the mining town of Urique. Interesting stops at old Tarahumara church, a cave home, a rancho and the Virgencita spring. 22 miles round trip. 3 1⁄2 hours. After our tour, back to the hotel for lunch and reboard the train to Posada Barrancas. The view of the three canyons that comprise the Copper Canyon makes this area (“The look out point”) an unforgettable stop on your trip across the mountains. This area is four times larger than the Grand Canyon and gives visitors memorable vistas of pristine mountain wilderness.

Day 5 Posada Barrancas – Creel
This morning your Tour Director will lead a walk along the rim, then use your free time to shop with the Tarahumaras who sell their handicrafts near the hotel. After lunch, a short train ride to the town of Creel. Free evening to walk downtown or shop at the many arts crafts stores.

Day 6 Creel – Chihuahua
After breakfast, motorcoach to Chihuahua City. Upon arriving we will tour the city, visiting Pancho Villás home, the Cathedral, the Spanish Aqueduct, murals at the State Capitol and residential districts.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner included
Day 7 End_ November 11th
Transfer provided to the airport in Chihuahua. End of services. You will board your flight for home.
