Erin is a freelance travel, food, wine, and Disney Theme Parks writer primarily based in Taipei. She has traveled to 40+ countries on five continents. Some of her specialty areas include Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Belize, Disney Theme Parks, and culinary travel. Erin is a Regional Membership Coordinator for IFWTWA and covers Taiwan/Hong Kong and Belize, Central America.
Erin is a staff blogger for both TravBuddy.com and Art of Backpacking.com and the Asian Cuisine Feature Writer and Editor for Suite101. She writes a number of travel topics for Examiner.com, including: Belize Travel, Luxury Hotels, International Travel, Culinary Travel, Disney Theme Parks, and Islands Travel. Erin is also the new Food & Drink "Best of" writer for CBS Sacramento.
She has had articles appear on CNNGo, AOL Travel's Gadling, BootsnAll, Trazzler, and Chip & Co. Under a pen name, she's had articles appear on Yahoo! Movies, Yahoo! News, Vocalpoint and Starwood Hotels. Erin is currently enrolled in MatadorU travel writing and photography programs, NY Institute of Photography program, several formal wine education courses, and has previous experience working at a Northern California winery.
For the remainder of 2012, Erin is looking to divide much of her time between Taiwan, Belize, and the Netherlands, but is available to pick up assignments from any region.
