www.WineTravellingGroup.com Jeanne Bartletts Web site is dedicated to wine, food and travel. Readers discover travel stories and opportunities as well as restaurant reviews by Bartlett. There are menus and pictures of the monthly dinners held by the WINO organization. Bartlett is founder and Director of Ventura County Chapter of W.I.N.O., Wine Investigation for Novices and Oenophiles. WINO celebrated its 35th anniversary in July 2010. At this Web site is the Blog, Latest from Jeanne which she uses to keep her followers apprised of special trips and events. Bartlett is a freelance writer. She began her writing career three decades ago with columns entitled, Wine Words, Dine Words, and Travel Adventures. Recent publications include the Ventura County Star newspaper; and Vittles, Vintages and Voyages, a subscription newsletter. Bartletts adventures in Virginia and Mazatlan will appear in Global Writes in March of 2010. Bartlett is a member and secretary of Southern California Restaurant Writers.

In June, 1973, my family and I ventured to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in our motorhome. My husband and I were on our way to start summer school at Eastern Washington State and decided to take a short trip to visit the Empress Hotel to enjoy their famous afternoon tea service. Alabama Gulf Shores - The Lament was "so much to do, so little time'"
In the fall of 2010 Jeanne Bartlett made a trip to the Gulf Shores of Alabama with a group of writers and found that the 32 miles of beaches in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach had been restored to their pristine beauty after the tragedy of the oil spill. More than that, she found so many interesting activities to explore and restaurants there was hardly time to see them all.

Mazatlan--The cuisine called to some writers, 'Come Back Soon'
Jeanne Bartlett's travel story of a visit to Mazatlan begins with a description of the disembarkment from the cruise ship, Oosterdam and goes on to describe the things which will impress the traveler.
