Leigh Cort has a passion for travel, food and celebs that takes her to barrier islands, chef tables, world-class resorts and acclaimed historic inns. Her public relations company, www.LeighCortPublicity.com specializes in creative PR campaigns and integrated marketing as she represents historic hotels and bed & breakfast inns, private islands, sports and culinary celebrities, restaurants and specialty foods. From St. Augustine, Eagle Island GA and Longboat Key FL to Spring Lake NJ, there is always a touch of Show Business associated with her clients and projects.
When Leigh left her New York show business career behind, she walked away from Broadway, TV and her one-woman nightclub act. But those creative moments surface time and again throughout each project that she creates in the travel, celebrity & hospitality industry.
As Party Director for New York City's distinguished Trump Tower during the 1980's, she produced and promoted galas for the international Rich & Famous. She became The Party Doctor soon after, writing and starring on television for Nabisco and Lifetime TV. Then under the watchful eye of Vincent Sardi, she entertained the famous show-business crowd in Manhattan at Sardi's. Her next project, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, filled the ensuing years with special events designed for celebrities and international guests.
Today, she juggles her PR company with occasional escapes to pen travel stories for Travel/Lifestyle sites.
