Chris Speere, Maui Culinary Academy Coordinator, commented: “Our Academy deeply appreciates the IFWTWA lasting commitment to culinary arts education and the meaningful financial support directed to Bernadette to further her career goals and aspirations.” Bernadette received a $500 award to assist with academy expenses.

2013 ~ Fatima Bonilla

IFWTWA awarded The School of Culinary Arts in Central America the 2013 Hospitality Education Scholarship Award for one of its deserving students, Fatima Bonilla. The school is happy to report that, with the $500 award, “Fatima Bonilla is completing the culinary arts course with honors. Her father is retired from the army, her mother works at home. The family decided to pay the studies little by little, so the $500 helps them a lot.”
