Get Excited About Experiencing Atlanta
IFWTWA thanks our hosts and the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau for coordinating our stay.

Four IFWTWA Journalists participated in this fascinating Experience Atlanta Media Trip. What was unique about this trip? Getting to know where to shop for produce, buy unusual local items, and experience some of the best local food was pure pleasure.
Our group toured what makes Atlanta special. From seeing one of only two Cycloramas in the country as well as Barbecue Nation on exhibit (what could be more Southern) at the Atlanta History Center, we got a flavor of the true South. A trip to the Atlanta Botanical Garden was a journey into the fairy land of Alice in Wonderland. We saw where Atlantans shop at three uniquely renovated markets. And, one of the highlights of the trip was learning to make biscuits at the Learning Center at Sweet Auburn Curb Market.
IFWTWA thanks our hosts, Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, for an engaging visit. What our hosts say about Atlanta, “Come to Atlanta…and you can discover what makes this Southern city truly unique. Think you know everything about the ATL? Think again as you explore these places to visit that are found ‘only in Atlanta.'”

What’s with Peachtree and the city of Atlanta? There are 17 streets within the city limits of Atlanta that have Peachtree in their name, but there are no peach trees. This mystery surrounding all the Peachtree streets fascinated our IFWTWA group.
