America’s Black Holocaust Museum

America’s Black Holocaust Museum was founded in 1988 in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin storefront by Dr. James Cameron, the only known survivor of a lynching. In 1992, Cameron acquired a spacious free-standing building, which he renovated and opened on Juneteenth Day 1994 with expanded exhibits and a staff.

The museum attracted many local, national, and international visitors. Many took guided tours led by “griots” (docents) who interpreted the exhibits and promoted dialogue with and among visitors.

The galleries take visitors on a chronological journey through the over 400 years of history of African Americans from pre-captivity to the present, uniquely displaying the under-told stories as an integral part of American history. America’s Black Holocaust Museum, an integrated physical and virtual experience, will continue to serve as a catalyst to educate and create space for critical conversation, reconciliation, and healing, in order to promote a more equitable world without racism. The Catacombs of Neto Art Museum

The Catacombs of Neto Art Museum is a bilingual, hybrid art museum redefining the boundaries between gallery and museum. Our mission is to break down barriers in the art world by offering affordable and approachable artwork in a space where curiosity thrives, and ownership is possible.

The Catacombs of Neto is an expertly curated collection of Neto Atkinson’s artwork with the vision to inspire and educate visitors. This unique collection serves as an active agent of color, sparking curiosity, conversation, and connection; celebrating creativity, embracing diversity, and enriching the soul of our community and the world at large by creating a brighter, more colorful society through art. Discovery World

Discovery World is an extraordinary experience devoted to sharing the wonders of science and igniting a love of endless exploration. The Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University is a place where art and ideas come alive—free of charge and open to all.

Through innovative exhibitions, arts education experiences, and thought-provoking public programs, we invite both the university campus and the broader Milwaukee community to discover, question, and connect.

Working with regional and national artists, collaborating with distinguished faculty across all disciplines, partnering with community organizations, and advancing collections inquiry, the museum is a vital forum for dialogue—to spark reflection, inspire action, and encourage positive change for the greater good. Gallery 218

Gallery 218 is the Cooperative Gallery of the Walker’s Point Artists Association, Inc. It contains all-volunteer art gallery space, creating exhibition opportunities for artists.

Harley-Davidson Museum

This isn’t just a museum – it’s the only H-D Museum in the world, located in the city where it all began. In 1903, inside a 10’ x 15’ wooden shed in the backyard of the Davidson family home, Arthur Davidson and William Harley started building their first motorcycle. Luxembourg American Cultural Society & Center

The Roots and Leaves Museum is the showpiece of the LACS. The permanent exhibit starts with the story of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, past and present, and continues with the immigration story of Luxembourg Americans, the Luxembourg American community, and the relationship between Luxembourg and the United States. Lynden Sculpture Garden

The Lynden Sculpture Garden offers a unique experience of art in nature through its collection of more than 50 monumental sculptures sited across 40 acres of park, lake, and woodland. Offering one complimentary admission ticket; a guest is welcome. Open Friday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Milwaukee Art Museum

The Milwaukee Art Museum connects people with art, each other, and the world. From its roots in Milwaukee’s first art gallery in 1888, the Museum has grown to be Wisconsin’s largest art institution. Located on a 24-acre lakeside campus in downtown Milwaukee, it is a vital cultural resource and icon for the city.

More than 34,000 artworks from antiquity to today comprise the Museum’s expansive collection. American and European painting, sculpture, and decorative arts; conceptual and minimalist art; prints and drawings; photography and new media; modern and contemporary design; folk and self-taught art; and 20th-century Haitian art count among its strengths. Housed in buildings designed by architects Santiago Calatrava (2001), David Kahler (1975), and Eero Saarinen (1957), the Museum is an essential destination for both art and architecture.

Milwaukee Public Museum

The mission of the Milwaukee Public Museum is to inspire curiosity, excite minds, and increase desire to preserve and protect our world’s natural and cultural diversity through exhibitions, educational programs, collections, and research. The current collections contain more than 4 million specimens. Permanent exhibits are contained in three and a half floors of exhibit area, with additional space for traveling and temporary exhibits.

Take a small step back in time to the turn-of-the-century Streets of Old Milwaukee, European Village, and ancient Mediterranean civilizations. National Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum seeks to provide access to the world’s largest collection of Bobbleheads, to advance an understanding of the historical role Bobbleheads play in American culture, and to celebrate the fun and quirky side of collecting. Visitors enjoy a one-of-a-kind museum with the world’s largest collection of bobbleheads from all genres and periods, dozens of exhibits related to the history of bobbleheads, and a store featuring bobbleheads and merchandise. Pabst Mansion

Third Space Brewing
