Tampa Bay, Florida’s Most Exciting Destination, plays hosts to incredible culinary experiences. On your journey here in Tampa Bay, jump into our rich history in Historic Ybor City. Experience the oldest restaurant in Florida, The Columbia Restaurant, and taste the flavors of Cuba and Spain. Venture over to the Channel District to JOTORO and taste the innovative flavors of Michelin Star chef, Joe lsidori. Just two steps away is Sparkman Wharf where you can take in the view of the Garrison Channel and walk our 2.7-mile Tampa Riverwalk to explore downtown.

Continue your journey down the Tampa Riverwalk to take in the beautiful waterfront views all the way to Heights Public Market in Armature Works. There you can eat from 18 unique dining options and shop local goods. Just a few feet over is Ulele, where you can dine on their exquisite cuisine while taking in the suns et.

Discover Tampa Bay’s top attractions such as Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and ride Tigris, the tallest launch coaster in Florida. Dive into Florida’s aquatic ecosystems from the inland springs to the Gulf of Mexico at The Florida Aquarium. Take on the hungry giraffes at ZooTampa at Lowry Park and over 2,000 animals in natural exhibits . Head over Hyde Park Village and shop in beautiful local boutiques and dine in excellent restaurants such as Meat Market Tampa or historic Goody Goody. Florida’s oldest restaurant fills an entire block in the heart by Ybor City, Tampa Bay’s historic Latin Quarter. Since 1905, the Gonzmart family has operated the restaurant, expanding it over the years from a bar and sandwich shop to more than 1,700 seats. Six nights a week, the restaurant features Flamenco dancing.

From its founding in 1885, Ybor City flourished as a global center for cigar manufacturing and became a magnet for immigrants from Cuba, Spain, Germany, Italy and Eastern Europe. Visitors can still find skilled artisans rolling cigars the same way they have the beginning.

Downtown’s bright yellow water taxis ferry visitors to destinations all along the Hillsborough River and Garrison Channel, providing a fun way to explore Tampa Bay from the water. A day pass lets visitors hop on and off as they wish.
