We are pleased to announce a media trip to the city of Louisville, Kentucky.
Louisville continues to garner top accolades by landing on Travel + Leisure’s coveted list of ‘Best Places to Travel in 2022’ as well as Travel Pulse’s ’50 U.S. Cities Worth Exploring in 2022.’
These come as no surprise, as the city lays claim to one-of-a-kind attractions, events, an exploding culinary scene and a Bourbon renaissance. Legendary Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and the Muhammad Ali Center are just a sampling of the iconic attractions you won’t find anywhere else.
Get a taste of America’s only native spirit or enjoy the city’s official cocktail, the Old Fashioned, as well as the one-and-only Urban Bourbon Experience, a citywide adventure that includes distilleries, endless craft cocktail bars and Bourbon attractions and exhibits.
Louisville’s culinary scene is on fire. The city is home to over 2,500 independent restaurants which help us receive many culinary accolades annually, including one of the “South’s Best Food Cities” by Southern Living and one of “America’s Favorite Cities for Food” by Travel + Leisure. You might even remember seeing Louisville featured on Bravo’s Top Chef show’s 16th season! From farm-to-table and southern cuisine to top chefs and top shelf, Louisville has a lot to bring to the table.
The Bourbon Classic, a premier Bourbon event, is the holy trinity for experiencing the very best in the culinary, cocktail, and Bourbon arts through a collection of rare, interactive events. Those selected will be able to participate in a Media Camp. Events will include flight tastings as well as food pairings. This will be a focus of the media trip.
