Make your way 15 minutes from the conference hotel to Tabal Chocolate in nearby Wauwatosa for a complimentary 101 Bean-to-Bar Class.

Course Description
An introduction to chocolate lasting approximately two hours. Class begins with students pouring their own chocolate bars and decorating them with toppings. You will taste and learn about the different types of single origin chocolate, their ingredients, and flavor profiles. Also covered is the processing that goes on before the cacao reaches Tabal and the bean to bar process. Finally you will go on a world tasting tour that explores the unique flavor profiles of single origin chocolate.
What Tabal Chocolate Seeks from Media Participants
- This two-hour experience is open to at least 16 writers
- Course is from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM; writers should arrive 15 minutes early
- Writers will complete one article and/or video (depending on individual writers chosen and media outlets)
- Writers will provide a social media post
- Writers will need to provide their own transportation
Course Includes:
- Learning about ingredient sourcing and flavors
- The bean to bar process for making chocolate
- How to taste single origin dark chocolate
- Tasting the amazing flavors of Tabal Chocolate
- Writers will take home three chocolate bars that they make
