“Wake Up” by Jennifer Saran

"In 2016, Jennifer Saran teamed up with the South African Grammy-winning male choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and with Grammy and Emmy-winning producer, drummer, and singer/songwriter Narada Michael Walden, to create “Wake Up”. Jennifer traveled to South Africa to record with Ladysmith and to film scenes for the song’s music video. Also, making a special guest appearance on the track is multiple Grammy and Emmy-winning legend, Carlos Santana, “whose guitar licks generate inspiring vibe’s”. This stunning collaboration is a heartfelt appeal to recognize and address worldwide inequality and impoverishment, and lift people’s awareness to engage in improving the lives of those less fortunate, a cause incredibly important to all the amazing artists involved.
