Corinthian Riviera Trip
Dorida, Greece
September 2016

Colorful photo collage of Dorida Greece attractions

The geographic area of Dorida is massive. In 2011 it was formed by a merger of four former municipalities: Efpalio, Lidoriki, Tolofon, and Vardouisa. (Wikipedia) There are mountain villages, ski towns, Lake Mornos, seaside towns, sleepy harbors, a superb maritime museum and many sheep and goats- therefore many cheese and yogurt producers. There is an inhabited island, Trizonia accessible by boat transport that Mr. Onassis tried to buy, and a famous apiary making the most beautiful gourmet pine or wild thyme honey. The archeological wonder that is Delphi is part of Dorida as is the lovely seaport town of Galixidi.
