Until I left the US in Feb 2019, I wrote for the Newport Beach Independent newspaper for seven years, covering business, charity, entertainment, food, and travel. Since then I have been a permanent nomad, visiting 27 countries and over 400 cities, then got stuck in Mexico for 18 months during COVID, and in 2021 I was able to return to Europe. After obtaining residency in Turkey and spending 9 months there, we rode a motorcycle up the coast into Greece where we worked with visitors’ bureaus and convention centers while partnering with 15 cities and regions in northern Greece. Overall we spent 88 days on two wheels and will co-write a book on northern Greece in partnership with one of our fellow IFWTWA members.

My blog (http://www.TravelYounger.com), generated two volumes of “Traveling the World Six Weeks at a Time,” which is now being re-edited into an updated and revised edition. COVID boredom inspired me to tap into my creativity and share some of the POSITIVE outcomes with COVIDstories, and write two novellas, several short stories, and a sci-fi series.
