Debbra Dunning Brouillette’s articles and photos have appeared in the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, Indulge, AAA Home & Away, Denton Lifestyles and Evansville Living magazines; online digital outlets, including JohnnyJet.com, TravelWorld magazine, Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope e-newsletter, TravelSquire.com, MoreTimeToTravel.com, and others; as well as her own site, TropicalTravelGirl.com. She is an Associate Editor of Food Wine Travel magazine, published by the International Food Wine Travel Writers Assn. (IFWTWA). She is a member of IFWTWA’s Board of Directors and serves as Chairperson of Media Trips.

She has received multiple awards for her writing and photography in NATJA’s (North American Travel Journalists Assn.) annual competition honoring the best in travel journalism, and photography awards in IFWTWA’s photo contests (2021 and 2022). Debbra has also served as co-author or editor for two books in the food and nutrition area. She co-authored “Goodbye, Fat Guy” with Starke Taylor and served as editor of “I’ll Start on Monday: Overcoming Your Weight Loss Excuses” by Mardi Allen.

While Debbra has concentrated on tropical travel for more than two decades and is an avid scuba diver, she has expanded her niche to include food and wine destinations. An avid photographer, she enjoys exploring natural wonders and historic areas while savoring the food and wine everywhere she goes.
