Jan Schroder is an award-winning writer based in Atlanta. She is Editor-in-chief of The Travel 100, a website and monthly newsletter, published by The 100 Companies, a digital publishing platform with newsletters in 24 markets including The Atlanta 100, The Washington D.C. 100, The Pittsburgh 100, The Boston 100 and several others.

In 2022, The Travel 100 distributed more than 5.8 million newsletters across the U.S. with 1.1 million openers. It is sent to 350,000+ subscribers every month with travel news and profiles on hotels, destinations, cruises and products. The Travel 100 has a YouTube channel with travel videos.
Jan and her husband, Chris, recently spent a month in Portugal and produced stories and videos for International Living magazine.

She also freelances for publications including Global Traveler, International Living and Simply Buckhead. She has contributed to Fodor’s, Orbitz, ShermansTravel and WestJet Magazine and has ghostwritten and published several books.
