Kim Jackson is a freelance travel writer and photographer based in Agassiz, BC, Canada. She focuses on travel, exploring nature (especially waterfalls), wine, and hikes with the family. Kim’s journeys have taken her to many places within North America, and most recently, to Uganda, Africa.
She enjoys exploring her province of British Columbia, which includes traveling with family, going on solo trips, and creating her own road trips. She finds joy in researching new places to visit and incorporates her interests into her travels.
Her upcoming blog, Traveling Boomerz, will feature traveling as a baby boomer, along with multi-generational travel. She believes “you’re never too old to travel.”
She recently created a new project with her daughter in early 2021. They started a company called Fresh Air Therapy. Their focus is to explore nature with family and/or friends. Every Saturday, they explore a new trail in surrounding cities and share these hikes to inspire other families to spend time in nature. She writes a weekly blog after every family walk and then shares on Instagram and Facebook. Their ultimate goal is to create a website, along with a store.
