Ibn Battuta once said “Traveling-it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”

After spending 34-plus years as a registered nurse and legal nurse consultant, Noreen hung up her stethoscope for good in 2018 and transformed her lifelong love of travel into the world of freelance travel writing and photography.

In the eight years since she launched her travel writing career, she’s had over 800 published stories for a multitude of print and digital publications and has been a guest speaker at the Ultimate Travel Writer’s Workshop five times on topics of travel writing success, queries, marketing for travel writers, and press trips.

Noreen also pioneered a member’s only private travel-writer’s program known as the Travel Writer’s Café for International Living and co-launched the Travel Writer’s University and retreat program with business partner, Kristi Dosh. She is also an associate editor for Food, Wine Travel Magazine and Co-Publisher and Editor of Travel by Vacation Rental Magazine and Book Cottages.

Above all else, Noreen loves to write about her adventures with her husband, family and friends. Like most people, she believes that destinations are multi-faceted. Therefore, her articles often cover the gamut of destination pieces, history, outdoor adventure, sustainable living, food, wine, and more.
