Stacey’s Story

Adventurous Stacey Wittig left Minnesota with the Midwestern work ethic, rock-solid university education and curiosity of spiritual things. In pursuit of mountain living, she followed dreams of backpacking and skiing in the Colorado high country.

Corporate America’s Unfulfilling Ladder of Success

At the same time that she slalomed downhill, she climbed Corporate America’s ladder of success with equal enthusiasm. But after reaching the top rungs, Wittig found that the fulfillment she’d hoped for was not there.

So then, over ten years ago in Flagstaff, Arizona, she leveraged her quest for adventure with a love of travel to launch a new career as a travel journalist.

Today she can’t stop exploring the world (she blames it on her father’s Viking blood) and writes about her adventures–many as a solo woman traveler. Life isn’t always rosy; Wittig lost her firecracker reasoning skill to head injury in a horrific rollover accident that should have taken her life. Brain injury hasn’t stopped her from traveling, although sometimes it makes for amusing travel antidotes.

Spiritual Adventurer and Book Author

Since Stacey Wittig finds joy in–and has authored books about–spiritual travel and pilgrimage, she’s earned the title “spiritual adventurer.” Find her books on Amazon at http://bit.ly/StaceyWittig
